about

We wrote this one on the 18th floor of a crumbling high rise at Cote St Cathrine and Parc in May 2011. Nice view of the west side facing Olympic stadium. Way too many compact lyrics in the verses, two hard to sing, i think we we're listening to too much Lil Wayne at the time. We changed the name to Caviar but went back to Beach Side because it seemed sunny against the lyric. We recorded that siren from the balcony and during mixing Ian Blurton said after showing up 5 hours late from missing his flight "Put that siren in reverse, there's too many songs with sirens in them".

lyrics

You must have crawled down from the side of the moon
With your high heels on and your two dead eye's staring over at me
I'll never know why it's so hard to break you
I'm just trying to say high
Trying to stay hard
In your eye's
In a place so cold
I'd melt all over the room if you'd give me anything

Cold cold cadaver
I wanna reach out and grab her

Hey little girl
Why so stuck in side
Your like a plastic toy
With two concrete eye's
Stuck in a shell
At the bottom of well
Have you ever lost control a single day in your short life
Let your eye's melt down on me
I'm standing here waiting and i'm starting to bleed
Im a mother fucking rattlesnake thermometers about to break
Put me in my tomb cause i'm already dead
